The ninjalike Assassins don't fight with Daggers, their fight either with Swords in Melee, the Ninja-To (which are NOT Katanas, Katanas are the Swords of Samurais -.-) or they fight in a dual wielding style with 2 short swords, the so called Kodachis or Wakizashis, even bladed Tonfas are more ninja like melee Weapons, than stupid Daggers are.

lol, just shut up, when you have no clue about the Assassin Cultures.
I don't equate Real life to a Game. I hope only for better Game Design based on trustworthy culturistic Features, when the Developers make a game again, which's Content is mostly ever based on different Cultures of the Real Life.
Prophecies > based on European/Celtic Culture
Factions > based on Asian Culture
Nightfall > based on African Culture
EotN > based on Erupean/ Norse Culture
The problem with Assassins only is, that they have a splitted culture between History of Asia and Europe (Persia) and thus can't be seen only in the asian ninja style, which got even only half heartedly concepted in GW1.
Assassins are one of the coolest professions of all and i want to see them just only in GW2 as trustworthy, as possible next time...
When you can't understand this, then just stfu

Personally, I'd rather have a game that's incredibly entertaining over one that has incredibly "trustworthy culturistic features". That's all I'm really saying.

Pheonix....sigh...well, if you WANT to be a realist, true ninjutsu like the Hanzo clan dressed like regular ronin. The only reason they carried the straight blades was because they were cheaper to make than the katana of the time. Most, in fact, got katanas as soon as they were able. They did more recon than assassination, and most of the assassination crap developed from the fact that no one understood the Hokkaido clans from which they originated. That comes from Masaaka Hatsumi, a recently deceased dan of the arts.
As was said before, however, this is a game, based on people's perceptions of Asian assassins in pop culture. Cantha is based on China and Japan, not the Middle East. Most of the NPCs are named after characters in Kurosawa films(Kikujiro, Sanjuro, Musashi). Quit mucking it up by raiding Wikipedia for historical references and peen.
OP: /signed. They had time to open the end game area after Hell's Precipice. They can do some skinning for this.

Ok, who cares about assassins in real life unless they come after me. If they try to kill me, I'll sue them!!!!!
This topic is about how hot Anton's deldimore armor is and anet should consider making armor available for assasin players.

^ ^ I'd prefer an assassin to a lawyer. One makes you dead. The other makes you wish you were dead.

I think this is cool, It would give sins another attribute ^.^, instead od "dagger mastery" something like "Ranged Mastery" or something...Just another option of fighting style. and new armor, why the hell not? Dont think of what hes saying as real life, try to interpret it INTO the video game.

Hero armours are just that... Armours for heroes. Personally I would hate to see players running around in the same armour as heroes :\

rofl.I don't know what the people that made EQ do about armor, but all Blizzard does is re-skin stuff worse than ArenaNet does. And would everyone stop complaining about it.

ain't that the truth?
seriously, wow armors for some classes are just TERRIBLE.
in fact, the few armors i did like were for priests. and only the Tier 5 and Tier 6 ones. oh, and the tier 4 warlock.
other than that, the wow armors are just... EW.
Granted, I would like it if it was more than just a simple reskin for the eotn armors, but at the same time... it could've been worse. it could've been reskins of of ancient armors (ew for most classes).

Anyone is using his Anton/Zenmai? No. So don't worry, you won't see assassins wearing same armor as heroes.
Besides, that's kind of a BS that heroes get a new, nice armor and we get shitty reskins.

We have seen 'Assassin' armors. But not Hashshashin armors. Not even in Nightfall. That was kind of awkward.
Time to fix that too!

I think the real issue raised by this thread is the perceived inequality between warrior silver eagle armor and the rest of the class's sets. I personally do not play a warrior, but I can understand Anet's wanting to give all the Wammo's out there something since they were for a long time the majority of the player base. That said, profession-specific prestige armor would be nice, but I do not know of which armor sets could be implemented without perceived public inequality. The male mesmer certainly needs some pve love. One would think that concept art could be easily obtained from the community, and perhaps this could fit in to a contest and/or weekend event. This could, however, get too complicated too quickly.

Bleh. The Eagle armor should have been the Prophecies-end game warrior armor, and 18 more sets(1 per profession and gender) should be added there too.

They could just go ahead and implement a update to make armor non class specific. I would also like real life armor . Top hats, bikinis, swimsuits, ties, jeans, boots, tank tops, and shorts. Have you guys seen vabbi Rt armor? Shorts!!!!

You know how people are: ANet gives them 1 hero armour, they'll want more. Besides, some people use their sin heroes
